Each year, Opera Universitaria welcomes around 1,200 students from around 80 different countries. In this context, the concept of living together takes on different shapes for each person l. One of Opera's priorities is to ensure that each individual feels welcomed for their uniqueness, listened to in their needs, supported in their difficulties and encouraged in their potential.

To this end, a number of services have been set up to identify and respond to the needs of each guest, and to network with others in the area.

 

The office also deals with all sensitive situations, even also by activating a personalised taking over reception of them and, if necessary, calling in the suitable necessary professionals (psychological support, health system, law enforcement), while respecting confidentiality, individuality and personal freedom.

The Sanbàpolis multifunctional centre is composed of the following sports facilities:

THE SERVICE

Opera Universitaria manages the restoration system for students and teachers of the University of Trento and Rovereto, with canteens and bars located both in the city center and in the hills, as well as special agreements in the cities of Rovereto and San Michele.
The service is aimed at students enrolled at the University of Trento and in advanced training courses of other institutes/universities and facilities other than Unitn (including, for example: Conservatory, Trentino Art Academy, SSML, Advanced Training) and students enrolled in university and postgraduate courses in the health field in the province of Trento, as well as teachers and PhD students.
Access to the canteens is also granted to the Students enrolled in courses of the health field who are formally enrolled at the University of Verona, at the same prices as students enrolled at the University of Trento.
Access to university canteens is reserved for those who use the self-service restoration service; it is therefore prohibited to use university canteens to consume meals not provided by the canteens themselves.

OPERA4U: YOUR SERVICES AT A FINGERTIP
 

Opera4U is the Opera Universitaria app that provides smart access to the its services.
Through the app, you can pay for meals using the new electronic wallet system, reserve a place in the canteen, thus avoiding queues and crowds, and rate the meal you ate. In addition, students can find out the menu of the day and make informed choices by consulting the ingredients, allergens, nutritional values and nutritional declaration for each recipe.

iconaAccessoHOW TO ACCESS THE SERVICE

Access to the canteens is allowed upon reservation via Opera4U’s online services. The student will have the possibility to select the canteen, the day, the meal (whether lunch or dinner), and the timespan in which they want to have access. After that, a notification will be sent via e-mail with a bar code, which will have to be read by the scanner located at the entrance of every canteen. The scanner will, then, print (as long as the reservation is valid) the receipt of access, which will have to be handed to the staff behind the counter when purchasing the meal.
If the student makes the reservation via the app, the bar code will be found directly in the app. This way, access is easier and more immediate.
IMPORTANT! Meals are reserved for users who have activated the electronic wallet, the new feature of the Opera4U app.

The scanner placed before the entrance of the canteens displays live the situation for each timespan, showing: the number of free spots, the spots booked and not-booked, and the number of people in.
