1. When is the scholarship paid to students enrolled at the University of Trento?

Students enrolled in their first year at the University of Trento who have been awarded a scholarship will receive it in two instalments: the first instalment will be paid by December 2021; the second instalment will be paid when achieved the required number of credits specified in the Announcement (Appendix - Announcement 1 ISEE a. a. 2021/2022). Those credits shall be achieved by 5 August 2022 (or by 30 September 2022 for students of the Conservatoire, the part-time Business Management degree course and the Master of Science degree courses in Civil Engineering, Environmental and Territorial Engineering and European and International Studies).

For those enrolled in years subsequent to the first, the scholarship will be paid in a single instalment by December 2021.

 

2. I am a student from Trentino enrolled in another university in Italy. How and when can I apply for the scholarship?

If you intend to apply for the scholarship, you will have to fill in the ONLINE APPLICATION form, from 22 November to 20 December 2021. To access the procedure you need to have a SPID code. After filling in the section "Access to personal and bank details", you can proceed to select the application "Trentini iscritti ad altri Atenei 2021/2022".

 

3. I intend to participate in the call for applications for Trentino students enrolled in other Italian universities or abroad. What are the requirements for applying for the scholarship?

The economic condition is established on the basis of the ISEE indicator, which can be calculated by requesting the ISEE 2021 certificate “per le prestazioni per il diritto allo studio universitario” (in English: certificate for benefits for the right to university study) from a CAF (Italian National Tax Office). In addition to the financial condition requirement, if you are enrolled in years subsequent to the first year,  you must also meet the merit requirement set out in the Trentino Scholarship Notice for students enrolled at other universities and abroad for the academic year 2021/2022.

4. I am a student enrolled in a course of Higher Professional Education, how and when can I apply for a scholarship or accommodation?

If you wish to apply for a scholarship or accommodation, you must complete the ONLINE APPLICATION form by 20 December 2021. To access the procedure you need to have a SPID code. After completing the section "Access to personal and bank details" you can proceed to the selection of the application "Alta Formazione Professionale 2021/2022".

5. I intend to take part in the call for applications for Higher Professional Education, what are the requirements for applying for the scholarship and accommodation?

The economic condition is established on the basis of the ISEE indicator, which can be calculated by requesting  requesting the ISEE 2021 certificate “per le prestazioni per il diritto allo studio universitario” (in English: certificate for benefits for the right to university study)  from a CAF (Italian National Tax Office). In addition to the financial condition requirement, if you are enrolled in the second year, you must also meet the merit requirement set out in the 2021/2022 call for applications for scholarships and accommodation for higher professional training.

6. What are the requirements for applying for a study grant and accommodation?

The requirements for obtaining the benefits are both financial status and merit.

If you are a student enrolling in your first year, or if you have enrolled or transferred to the University of Trento from the 2017/2018 academic year or if you are transferring from another university, your financial status is established on the basis of the ISEE indicator, which can be calculated by requesting the ISEE 2021 certificate from a CAF (Italian National Tax Office), valid for university study allowances. If you are enrolling in years subsequent to your first year or are transferring from another university, you must also meet the merit requirement set out in 1 ISEE 2021/2022 Call for Application for the course you intend to enroll in.

If you are a student who enrolled in a single-cycle Master's degree program in Trento in the 2016/2017 academic year and you intend to apply for a scholarship for the last semester or a place in a residence hall for the last year, your financial status will be established on the basis of the ICEF indicator. In addition to the financial status requirement, you must also meet the merit requirement set out in the ICEF 2021/2022 Call for Application.

7. My ISEE 2021 certificate has omissions/ discrepancies. What should I do?

If your ISEE 2021 Certificate has omissions/shortcomings, you will find notes on the first page of the Certificate describing what was not declared in the DSU or what does not correspond to the data collected by the office. In this case a new DSU must be submitted as soon as possible, within the deadline indicated in the Call, including the information previously omitted or otherwise stated, and Opera Universitaria must be informed immediately.

8. Do Opera Universitaria students have to pay university fees?

If you are a student at the University of Trento or at the "F.A. Bonporti" Conservatory of Music and you are eligible for a scholarship in the ranking, you will also be exempt from paying university fees (if you are enrolled in the first year, however, you will have to achieve a certain number of credits during the 2021/2022 academic year in order to maintain the benefits of the scholarship and fee exemption for the same academic year). If you are a student at ISIT, Trentino Art Academy, SSPL or a PhD student at the University of Trento and you are eligible for a scholarship, you will be exempt from paying the tax for the right to study (TDS).
