The Ateneo dei Racconti is back!

Got a story itching to get out of the drawer? It’s time to let it shine! 
The contest that turns words into emotions, stories into performances, and ideas into voice is starting again.

If you’re a student with a passion for writing (or you just love storytelling), this is your chance: from the diary page to the stage, it’s a short — and exciting — step!

First, the writing
The 10 best stories will be selected by a panel of experts and refined during a two-day workshop, held on January 24–25, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. in Trento.
A creative lab where you’ll polish your story with the guidance of professional writers.

Then, the theatre
The finalist stories will come to life on the Sanbàpolis stage in three public evenings — April 14, 21, and 29, 2026 — where words meet performance and young authors become the stars of the show.
