The Sanbàpolis Theatre is a very modern and multi-purpose facility, located in Via della Malpensada 82, next to the San Bartolameo student residence, whose management has been assigned by the Opera Universitaria to the Cultural Services Centre S. Chiara.
The space is suitable for standard theatrical use for shows, conferences and film screenings, with a wide stage and 240 seats (which can be increased to a maximum of 380 seats with 140 mobile seats), but it can also be used for events with a seating arrangement around the stage or with a dual-use, by dividing the space into a frontal one with or without a stage and a closed one at the back.
The stage is made of modular panels placed at variable heights. The floor is made of oak wood. The whole theatre is lined with acoustic sound-absorbing panels and has a large screen for film projections.
The theatre has wardrobes, rehearsal rooms and dressing rooms, as well as a large underground car park with 140 parking spots. Access is barrier-free.
