Disable
Methods for Accessing Student Housing
Accommodation as per Call for Applications
Students with disabilities, identified pursuant to Article 3, paragraph 1, of Law No. 104 of February 5, 1992, or with a disability equal to or greater than 66%, who meet the economic and merit requirements set forth in the 2025/2026 Call for Applications, must apply for accommodation, scholarships, and tuition waivers by completing the ONLINE APPLICATION on the Opera website.
Students must certify their disability by attaching appropriate certification to the application.
The Student Community Inclusion Service is available to help complete the online scholarship application and to request any special needs regarding services and equipment.
If necessary, students with disabilities may request accommodation to share with their assistant (who may stay free of charge).
Opera Universitaria has some accommodations available that are barrier-free and meet specific needs. These needs must be communicated to Opera
Universitaria in advance when completing the online application. In the absence of specific information, places will be assigned automatically.
Please always refer to the call for applications for scholarships and accommodation for the 2025/2026 academic year.
Extra-Allowance Accommodation
Students with a disability equal to or greater than 66%, or with disabilities identified pursuant to Article 3, paragraph 1, of Law No. 104 of February 5, 1992, who do NOT meet the requirements set out in the 2025/2026 Call for Applications, must complete the application available at the following link.
If requests exceed available places, applications will be evaluated by a special commission.
For the purposes of assigning accommodation outside of the call for applications, the following order of precedence will apply:
Absolute priority to applicants, new or existing residents, with multiple or complex motor disabilities who require equipped accommodation.
Subsequent assignment to applicants already resident who submit an application to renew the same accommodation.
The duration of accommodation is:
- nine semesters for bachelor’s degree programs
- seven semesters for master’s degree programs
- thirteen semesters for the single-cycle master’s degree programs in Law and Civil Engineering/Architecture
- fifteen semesters for the single-cycle master’s degree program in Medicine and Surgery.
starting from the year of first enrollment.
Please note:
Starting in the 2025/2026 academic year, non-restricted accommodation applicants enrolled in years subsequent to the first will also be required to meet the merit requirement with a 40% reduction in the credits required by the call for applications for their degree program (see point 8 of the Call for Applications).
Therefore, renewal will not be automatic.
Students attending first- and second-level master’s programs or advanced training programs are not eligible for accommodation.
For any questions, please contact the Student Community Inclusion Service directly (inclusion.studente@unitn.it) or submit a ticket to the Opera Universitaria Accommodation Office (https://www.operauni.tn.it/contattaci)
